More than 80% of the farmers in India are poor and live on minimum margins, owning less than 5 acres of agricultural land.
These farmers practise rain fed, survival agriculture earning them a low income due to reduced market access and lack of better employment and investment opportunities.
Most of the times, they migrate in the off season or when there is no rainfall and their lands cannot produce sufficient yields.
Our mission is to increase income generation of everybody involved in agriculture and ecology enhancement through beekeeping with indigenous bees.
1. We try to tackle poverty through beekeeping.
2. We try to educate farmers in beekeeping, increase their skills and create a mutual ecosystem of livelihoods.
3. Increasing beekeeping to increase other crop yields due to the increase in pollination.
4. Giving beekeeping farmers the market access.
